Website privacy policy.
Last updated: 26 July 2026
Kleep (“Kleep”, “we”, “us”) provides AI solutions for fashion e-commerce, including sizing recommendations, virtual try-on, search, recommendations and merchandising. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website (kleep.ai) and through our products when they run on our clients’ storefronts, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French law.
Who is responsible for your data
For data collected on this website, Kleep, headquartered in Paris, France, acts as data controller. For data processed by our products embedded on a brand’s online store, the brand is the data controller and Kleep acts as data processor on its behalf, under a data processing agreement. You can reach us about anything in this policy at dpo@kleep.ai.
Data we collect on this website
- Demo and contact requests. When you book a demo, our form (operated by Typeform) collects the details you provide, typically your name, work email, company and role. We use them to respond to your request and manage our commercial relationship, on the legal basis of pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest.
- Job applications. If you apply to a role or write to jobs@kleep.ai, we process your application materials to evaluate your candidacy, and keep them no longer than two years unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). IP addresses are not stored by GA4. This helps us improve the site, on the legal basis of your consent where required.
Data our products process on client storefronts
When you use a Kleep feature on a brand’s store, for example a sizing recommendation or a virtual try-on, we process the information you provide in the flow (such as declarative answers about height, weight or fit preference, or a photo you choose to submit) together with technical data needed to run the service. This processing happens on behalf of the brand, under its own privacy policy. Photos submitted for try-on or scanning are processed to generate the result and are not used to train models without explicit consent, nor sold or shared with third parties.
How long we keep data
We keep contact and prospect data for the duration of our relationship and no longer than three years after the last contact. Analytics data is retained for fourteen months. Product-flow data is retained per the controller brand’s instructions and our data processing agreements, and only as long as needed to deliver the service.
Where data is processed
Kleep is based in the European Union and processes data in the EU wherever possible. Where a service provider processes data outside the EU (for example Google Analytics or Typeform), transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any of these rights, email dpo@kleep.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority; in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Cookies
This site uses a strictly necessary cookie-free core; analytics measurement is loaded through Google Analytics. You can block analytics through your browser settings or extensions, and where a consent banner is presented, analytics only runs after you accept it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products and legal obligations evolve. The date at the top reflects the latest revision; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
