Key takeaways
- The Kooples is live with Kleep, the first brand on Kleep's two-photo body scan.
- Two smartphone photos produce a full measurement profile, no tape measure involved.
- The two-photo scan makes The Kooples a first for online fitting in France.
A first, on a Paris storefront
Until now, Kleep's recommendations were built from a short questionnaire. With The Kooples, a second path goes live: the shopper scans a QR code, takes two photos with their phone, and Kleep's computer-vision models turn them into a full measurement profile on the spot.
The Kooples is the first brand in production with the feature, a fitting choice for a house whose sharp, close-cut tailoring leaves little room for sizing error.
Why photos beat questionnaires
A questionnaire captures height, weight and a self-described body shape; photos capture proportions no form field can ask about. The result is a finer profile feeding the same garment-level matching, the shopper does less work and gets a sharper answer.
The technology behind the scan came out of Kleep's R&D with the Mines de Paris and ENS Paris-Saclay labs, and The Kooples is its first production outing, a first for online fitting in France.
What this means for your brand
The body scan is now part of every Kleep deployment, shoppers choose between the questionnaire and the two-photo path. If your cuts are precise enough that near-misses come back, the scan is built for exactly that. See the Smart Sizing solution for how both flows work.
